The Dimlux Maxi Controller has been designed to manage your Dimlux Ballast(s) according to the temperature and CO2 level (when purchased with CO2 Sensor) in the grow room. If it is too hot, all of the lamps will be dimmed automatically to keep conditions at the desired setting. Dimlux Ballasts are fine to plug straight into the controller without the use of a timer or contactor - it actually has the ability to perform these functions! This obviously will save you money! To mimic outdoor conditions as closely as possible, you are given the option of simulating sunrise and sunset when the controller switches the lights between on and off modes - a cool and incredibly unique feature! With a Dimlux Maxi Controller you can also gradually increase the light intensity to match and propel the growth of your plants. A maximum of 160 Dimlux Ballasts are able to be linked up to any one Dimlux Maxi Controller. That's right, 160! A temperature sensor is required to complete the Dimlux Maxi Controller.There are a number of items you can purchase that will help improve the performance of your Dimlux Maxi Controller and Dimlux Ballasts, which include the following:
Temperature Camera - measures leaf surface temperature for the most accurate and appropriate responses from your OptiClimate System and Dimlux Ballast(s)
Temperature Sensor with 5m/10m Lead - ensures that when temperatures go above the desired settings the Dimlux Ballasts are made to respond by dimming or turning off
Humidity Sensor with 5m Lead - enables your OptiClimate System to take into account the humidity level in the grow room when adjusting conditions
Dimlux CO2 Regulator
The Dimlux CO2 Regulator fits onto a CO2 cylinder, utilising a solenoid valve to distribute the gas as required. It is powered directly from the CO2 sensor, dosing according to users' exact specifications in parts per million, ensuring the perfect levels are maintained in the grow area at times. Your plants will love it!
Using the Dimlux CO2 Regulator:
The CO2 Regulator screws onto your gas cylinder (supplied separately). It is powered through the socket that sits on the front of the separately available Dimlux CO2 Sensor, and will automatically release carbon dioxide from the cylinder whenever required, ensuring that your plants will have access to exactly the right quantity for optimal growth at all times. You can change the values for your ideal CO2 levels in parts per million (ppm) from the Maxi Controller. The unit will keep dosing until it reaches the appropriate ppm; at which point it will stop.
